YMO Trust’s mission is to help prevent child labour and empower young people to fulfil their potential through education, vocational training and life skills.

YMO trustees have formulated a set of values. These values are at the heart of how the charity operates.

Integrity

We do what’s right. Integrity is the impartial and honest standard by which we make decisions and take actions, whether these are large, medium or small.

Empowerment

We believe that we can empower people through education.  Enabling them to provide for themselves and their families, giving hope and stability to future generations.

In addition YMO Trust has a Charter designed to be the code of practice by which we manage ourselves and work with people involved with the charity.

Equal Opportunities

We are committed to providing equality of opportunity for the children, young and old people and families with whom we work or provide education too. We value and respect everyone’s diversity no matter their age, race, religion and belief, gender, sexual orientation, irrelevant offending background, responsibility for dependents, economic status or political values.

Transparency

We aim to be transparent in all that we do, with all parties we work with, work for, or are governed by, in whichever country we operate.
